CDT was founded in 1985 by Artistic Directors Joyce Hurley and Kim
Maselli, and Administrative Director, Lori Sorensen.Our desire is to inspire the dreams of
movement, dance and performing style in boys and girls.Our school offers a full curriculum in
classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, musical theatre,
acrobatics and hip hop with a special emphasis designed to introduce these
dance forms to young children.Our
dailypre-professional ballet program
grooms the advanced dancer for a future career or an exclusive university dance
program.California Dance Theatre offers a highly credentialed faculty with
international ballet companies, Broadway credits, television and film resumes.

Pre-Professional Ballet Program
Goal:For the serious ballet dancer (13-18 years old).Our daily Pre-Professional Ballet Program
prepares dancers for a professional or university dance career.
Eligibility:Dancers who
have a strong focus, desire and potential in classical ballet and wish to
pursue a professional dance career. Audition required.
Teen and Adult Program (13+)
An
inspiring program for teens and adults who love to dance, these classes
emphasize technique, performing opportunities and a great workout.All designed to fit into a busy schedule.
Children's Program (2-12 years old)
Age
appropriate classes introducing and developing technique, artistry and a love
for dance.
