As resident ballet company of The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Countrywide Performing Arts Center, Pacific Festival Ballet Company is California Dance Theatre's non-profit classical company. Included in Pacific Festival Ballet's vast performance repertoire is the company's presentation of the classics, including The Nutcracker, an annual holiday favorite featuring international guest artists; Romeo & Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, among others; full-length original ballets, including Peter Pan, Heaven & Hell... The Journey, Mary Poppins, The Secret Garden, and The Sea Princess.
Licensing The Sea Princess
In May of 2007, Pacific Festival Ballet presented the world premiere of The Sea Princess, an original ballet from Artistic Director Kim Maselli in conjunction with renown composer Eric Allaman, to critical and audience acclaim. To obtain information on how your ballet cast of 50 or more dancers can license the choreography and music for The Sea Princess, please contact us. Outreach
In addition to its bi-annual commitment to bring the finest in performing arts to the community, Pacific Festival Ballet has been involved in a children's outreach program for public schools since 1996, introducing classical ballet to thousands of young school children throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
